General Conditions

We have divided our General Conditions into 2 versions:

Here you have a simple summary of what InsureMyTesla offers.

Who is covered?

The policyholder, the main driver or the additional driver(s).

Each reference on the website to"you" or "your" refers to at least one of the persons mentioned above.

Which vehicles can be covered?

InsureMyTesla only covers the following models manufactured by Tesla:

  • Model S
  • Model 3
  • Model X
  • Model Y

Each mention of the term "vehicle" in the insurance policy refers to one of the models listed above.

Duration of the insurance policy ?

The insurance is taken out for a period of one year and is tacitly renewed from year to year, starting on the date you choose in the application form.

Up to what amount(s) are you insured?

The vehicle is insured at real value or replacement value, depending on the plan you have chosen (Essential, Preferred or Complete).

The limit for reimbursement for individual benefits also depends on the chosen plan (Essential, Preferred, Complete).

What does this policy cover you against?

We cover Motor Third Party Liability for material damage and/or bodily injury you caused to third parties as a result of the use of your Tesla.

Depending on the plan you chose, the policy can also include a variety of additional coverages, such as cover for damages to your Tesla and an Assistance service.

Damage to your Tesla due to an Accident, or following Fire, Theft, Glass Breakage, Forces of Nature and Animal Strike, as well as Battery and Key Replacement, are covered regardless of the chosen plan.

Some coverages such as Tesla Charging Equipment, Glass Cover Plus and Tire Damage are dependent on the chosen plan.

Exclusions and limitations are listed below in the General Conditions.

Where are you covered for Motor Third Party Liability and Comprehensive Insurance?

In any country for which coverage is granted according to the insurance certificate.

In which countries can you call for Assistance?

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (including Monaco and Corsica), Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy (including Sicilia and Sardinia), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Northern Macedonia, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (including Canary Islands and Balearic Islands), Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Vatican City, United Kingdom.
