Description

The insurance consists of the following coverage:

Fire and explosion

Your vehicle is covered against fire, fire damage, explosions, flame throwing, lightning and short circuiting of the electrical system.

Theft

And damage resulting from theft or attempted theft.

Glass breakage

Of the windscreen, side and rear windows

Forces of nature

Collision with animals

And damage to the engine caused by an animal scratching or biting it.

Miscellaneous expenses

Up to €1,250 (excl. VAT) for:

• extinguishing a fire;
  
• using a temporary garage;
• the transport and repatriation of the vehicle to the repair shop;
• the dismantling for claim estimation.

Material damages

To your vehicle caused by an accident and acts of vandalism.

Exclusions

Theft if committed by or with the complicity of:

• a family member;
• someone you’re living with, even occasionally;
• any person with which you’ve entrusted the vehicle and its keys.

Theft or damage resulting from theft, due to:

• losing or forgetting your key in or on your vehicle;
• the non-activation of the anti-theft or locking systems (except in a private and locked garage);
• the non-functioning of the anti-theft or locking systems (except in a private and locked garage).

All tire damage unless:

• you select the Complete plan;
• it occurs in conjunction with other covered damage;
• it is caused by vandalism.

Damage due to:

• wear and tear;
• construction or material defects;
• obvious poor maintenance;
• use not in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Damage resulting from the preparation for or participation in competitions.

Damage when the vehicle was being driven by an unauthorized person:

• someone underage;
• without a driver's license;
• stripped of their right to drive.

Damage if the driver was under:

• the influence of alcohol;
• drugs and medication.
