Eligibility rules
You must meet a few conditions to purchase this insurance.
The insured person
- Is at least 18 years old.
- Has his/her main residence in Austria.
- Has a valid driver's licence in Austria.
- Aggravation factors:
- Number of at-fault accidents
- Previous withdrawal of their driver's licence or evidence of driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication
- Previous cancellation of their policy by an insurer (rule valid only for the policyholder)
The vehicle
- Must be registered in Austria.
- Commercial use is not permitted (e.g. commercial passenger transport – taxi, Uber, etc. – or commercial rental).
- No cover is provided for diplomatic vehicles/plates.
- Must be a Tesla.
- May exceed the number of kilometres indicated at the time of purchasing the insurance and driven during the covered period, but the premium will be increased accordingly.
- Your vehicle must meet all legal and regulatory requirements for driving in areas where liability insurance is mandatory.
